The ability to read
from a French-language newspaper is part of the basic information gathering
skills expected of all foreign-language professionals, as well as of

and DVDs. This is an excellent source to order from because they will
ship to the United States. The prices vary depending on the item.
It is a searchable site as well, so if you are looking for something
specific it will not work well.

language of many African countries, so it would allow students to read
authentic news release from another French speaking nation. Access to
articles on this site is free.

This website offers maps of France with the names of the places in French.
The map is interactive, so when a city is clicked another page appears with
a detailed map of the city and tourist information. It also gives
geographical information as well. This would be much more interesting
than using a traditional atlas.

of authentic music are available. There are links to period music

world. It is categorized based on region and then subdivided into
countries. This source would allow students to read the news in many
of the French speaking nations and expand their knowledge outside of France.
