This artifact is an interdisciplinary
unit, in which English, Social Studies and French teachers work
together for 3 weeks. The unit has the overarching theme of
survival. Each of the subject areas are emphasized in the
curriculum. The unit extends beyond the classroom and reaches into
the community. The students will take field trips, interact with the
community and create a publication for other students. Below is the
unit plan as well as a PowerPoint presentation that was created to
present the unit. |
