Through having a thorough knowledge of my subject matter, I will be able to help establish those meaningful connections between the classroom and community.  Fully understanding a discipline is a process. There are always more pieces of information to learn. As a professional, I feel it is my responsibility to continue my professional growth and strive to continue learning about my content area.
